Firefighters were able to prevent a dumpster fire in Manns Harbor Sunday afternoon from spreading to the adjacent convenience store.
The Manns Harbor Fire Department responded to White’s Shopping Center on U.S. 64 where they found the dumpster fully involved, and threatening to spread to a building nearby.
The blaze was quickly brought under control, but required crews to spend an extended period making sure it was fully extinguished.
No injuries were reported. What caused the fire has not been determined.
