The Manteo Athletic Boosters Club held its first annual SPECKtacular fishing tournament on Saturday, May 14, 2022. 71 anglers braved the rain and had a great day fishing at the event.
Quentin Turko took home first place for his 6.75 pound speckled trout. Alex Rich received second place, and Bud Bishop followed in third place.
The honor of Top Lady Angler was awarded to Sarah Woodley.
Top Jr Angler was Windsor Oglesby.
A total of $9,000 was raised for the Manteo Athletic Boosters from the tournament.
