The League of Women Voters of Dare County is proud to announce their upcoming community forum focusing on gun safety and storage, organized by the League of Women Voters (LWV) Dare County Health Committee.
Following the success of their previous public safety program, the LWV says they are eager to continue the conversation on this important topic.
Open to the general public, the forum will be held on April 25th, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room of the Baum Center located at 300 S Mustian Street in Kill Devil Hills.
Speakers from NC SAFE.org and Moms Demand Action will be in attendance share valuable insights and provide an opportunity for engaging discussions. Gun locks will also be available for distribution to promote safe storage practices.
The LWV encourages everyone to work towards a safer community and invites everyone interested in the educational opportunity to attend.
