On September 2, 2024, a CCSO Deputy initiated a traffic stop in Grandy for a motor vehicle violation.
During the stop, K-9 unit Omar was deployed on the vehicle and positively alerted to the odor of narcotics. A search of the vehicle recovered over 10 grams of methamphetamine in various packages along with several unused bags and paraphernalia.
Stacey Gunnells, 34, was placed into custody for possession with intent to sell/deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle, and drug paraphernalia.
Gunnells is held on a no bond for pre-trial release for prior charges of possession
